1.2 This Statement applies to all customers who consent to be contacted by the Firm via SMS to the phone number provided.
1.3 This Statement is subject to and governed by the laws of the State of Florida.


Data Collection and Consent

2.1 The Firm collects the following customer data:
(a) Name
(b) Mobile phone number
(c) Consent to receive SMS communications

2.2 By providing a mobile phone number and consenting to SMS communications, the customer expressly agrees to the terms of this Statement.


Use of Customer Data

3.1 The Firm will use the customer’s mobile phone number solely for the purpose of sending SMS communications related to:
(a) Legal services provided by the Firm
(b) Updates on customer matters
(c) Appointment reminders
(d) Firm announcements and news

3.2 The Firm will not use the customer’s mobile phone number for any other purpose without obtaining additional consent.


Data Sharing Prohibition

4.1 The Firm strictly prohibits the sharing of customer data collected for SMS communications with any third parties.
4.2 Customer data will not be sold, rented, or otherwise disclosed to any external entities.
4.3 Exceptions to this prohibition may only occur:
(a) With the customer’s explicit written consent
(b) As required by law or legal process
(c) To protect the rights, property, or safety of the Firm, its customers, or others


Data Security

5.1 The Firm implements reasonable security measures to protect customer data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
5.2 These measures include, but are not limited to:
(a) Encryption of data in transit and at rest
(b) Access controls and authentication procedures
(c) Regular security audits and assessments


Customer Rights

6.1 Customers have the right to:
(a) Access their personal data held by the Firm
(b) Request correction of inaccurate data
(c) Withdraw consent for SMS communications
(d) Request deletion of their data, subject to legal retention requirements

6.2 To exercise these rights, customers may contact the Firm using the information provided in Section 9.


Data Retention

7.1 The Firm will retain customer data for SMS communications only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Statement or as required by law.
7.2 Upon withdrawal of consent or termination of the attorney-client relationship, the Firm will securely delete or anonymize the customer’s mobile phone number within a reasonable timeframe, unless retention is required by law.


Changes to this Statement

8.1 The Firm reserves the right to modify this Statement at any time.
8.2 Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting of the revised Statement.
8.3 Customers will be notified of material changes via SMS and/or email.
8.4 Continued use of the Firm’s SMS communications after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Statement.
